Chess coach Sarah Longson (WFM) from Cheshire, UK, started playing chess at the age of seven and achieved early success by winning the UK Chess Challenge for under-7 girls, which led to an appearance on Blue Peter with Garry Kasparov. In 2010, she made her England Women Olympiad debut, scoring an impressive 7.5 out of 9 points unbeaten. In 2013, Sarah became the British Ladies Champion, further establishing her reputation in the chess community.
She now runs the UK Chess Challenge and offers chess training sessions for children. Sarah provides lessons in English and is equipped to assist students of all levels. She has impressive play statistics, with over 1,552 blitz games rated at 2148 and 130 rapid games at a rating of 2329, in addition to solving over 1,777 chess puzzles with a rating of 2520.
