India claimed gold medals in all categories at the 45th Chess Olympiad, held in Budapest, showcasing its dominance on the world chess scene.

The men's team, led by Gukesh D. and earning 21 points out of 22 possible, set a new record and left behind the strongest teams in the world. The women's team also demonstrated outstanding results, providing the country with a double victory at this prestigious tournament.

18-year-old Gukesh D. became the youngest world champion in chess, defeating the Chinese grandmaster Ding Liren with a score of 7.5:6.5.
