Andres Rodriguez Vila (GM), with a FIDE rating of 2484, is based in Uruguay. He demonstrated remarkable chess talent from an early age, learning to play at 4 by watching his father’s games. He began his competitive career at 10 and has since become the most accomplished chess player in Uruguayan history.
A professional coach since 1997, Andres is passionate about sharing his knowledge with students. He offers individual lessons in Spanish and Portuguese, along with streaming sessions and regular tournament participation, continuously enhancing his skills. His impressive statistics include 174 blitz games with a rating of 2546 and 20 rapid games with a rating of 2204.
