Chess coach Sergei Azarov (GM) with a FIDE rating of 2600 is residing abroad. He is an International Grandmaster with a peak rating of 2667 and was ranked No. 77 in the world. Sergei has participated in the Chess World Cups in 2011, 2013, and 2023, qualifying through the European Chess Championships in 2011, 2012, and 2023. He was the vice-champion of the U-20 World Championship in Azerbaijan in 2003 and a finalist of the Corsica Circuit in 2019. Furthermore, he has played in five Chess Olympiads from 2000 to 2008, showcasing his extensive experience in the chess arena.
Sergei offers both training games and personalized lesson plans. He provides instruction in Russian and English, with lesson fees negotiable on a monthly basis.
