From September 10 to September 23, 2024, Budapest will host the 45th World Chess Olympiad, gathering a record number of participants: 197 teams in the open tournament and 184 teams in the women's section. The Indian men's team claimed victory in both tournaments, showcasing an outstanding performance. The Hungarian men's team placed 11th, while the women's team came in 14th, confirming the high level of the national chess school.

Laszlo Szabo Memorial
