On October 19, the "NIS Serbia" team from Novi Sad took second place in the VII International Online Chess Tournament among energy companies - CHESS TECH - 2024.This result emphasizes the high level of preparation and mastery of the team, as well as strengthens the reputation of Novi Sad as a center of chess activity.
In November 2024, within the framework of the Voivodina County Chess League, a match will take place between "Kraljica Petrovaradin" and the Novi Sad Chess Club.Such encounters foster team spirit and reinforce chess traditions in the region.
In December 2024, Novi Sad hosted the 15th European Youth Chess Championship for young people and girls aged 8 to 18 in rapid chess, blitz, and problem-solving.This prestigious tournament gathered young talents from all over Europe, providing them with a platform to demonstrate their skills and exchange experiences.
