Chess coach Michael Oratovsky (GM) is based in Salou, Spain. As a former student of the prestigious Botvinnik-Kasparov chess school from 1986 to 1989, he has a wealth of experience and knowledge to share with his students. Michael achieved a peak FIDE rating of 2588 in 2003, demonstrating his exceptional level of play.
With an impressive portfolio of matches across various formats, he has played 491 blitz games with a remarkable rating of 2665, 91 bullet games with a rating of 2648, and has solved 982 puzzles, achieving a rating of 2460. This breadth of experience enables him to convey different strategies and techniques pertinent to all levels of chess players.
Michael offers lessons in various languages, including Russian, English, Spanish, and Hebrew.
