Chess coach Michael Oratovsky (GM) is a former student of the Botvinnik-Kasparov chess school (1986-89) and achieved a peak Elo rating of 2588 in 2003. He is based in Salou, Spain, and his extensive experience in chess combined with his passion for teaching makes him an ideal mentor for players at all levels.
Michael provides personalized chess lessons in Russian, English, Spanish, and Hebrew. He has competed in numerous tournaments, including over 490 blitz games with a rating of 2665 and 91 bullet games with a rating of 2648, showcasing his high level of play. Additionally, he actively solves chess puzzles, boasting a rating of 2460 across 982 solved puzzles.
Michael is dedicated to developing his students' chess skills through training games and individualized coaching programs. Coaching fees are negotiable via email.
